Hmm..I've been pulled over twice already in the last month for no front license plate. Anyone know of this "waver"?

General Question - What if the dealer made holes in your front bumper only because you didn't know it was done that was so you did not know to stop them?

Can I get caps or something to hide/fill the holes? I like the hook mount!

Been license plate free in the front, and tinted in front in CA. Still no ticket, knock on wood though. Just don't drive stupid and they wont pull you over. Passed plenty of cops, driven behind them, gone through airports, pulled at next to them, still nothing. knock on wood again.

I got mines from i-kona when he use to be legit. Looks like booty but whatever, better than 2 black holes

Anyways supposedly its illegal to have a dealer let the driver out of the lot without holes drilled for license plates.

Yeah I saw this, but us 08+ guys don't have the Honey comb lower grill and no one I saw had one of these on the 08+.

On top of that, Ptuning's plate holder is pretty solid and I can spin it out when I need to go through the car wash. Just keep an adjustable wrench in the glove box.

what i dont like about it is that it hold the license plate straight instead of a slant angle to accommodate the bumper. most of the so called JDM license plate relocators hold them straight because most of the older cars had a flatter design like the integra's for example.

the 808 customs plate can and have been used with the non honey comb lower grills all u need is bigger washers and thats it. ive had ZERO problems going threw car washes or going fast. grill still stays in place perfectly. the 808 customs plate locator is kind on a slant how u say dejablu but not much. I have mine on a slant going in torwards the lower part of the bumper on the passenger side ill get pics if ud like. Also dejablu they have that "gaydm" plate slant thing that alot of people have i think its totally ___ but alot of people like it ill post pics if u guys would like

It should be relatively cheaper, I'm undecided if I want to buy tow hooks and sell it as a kit, or have people send in their tow hooks and I do the work and ship it out, I'm leaning toward the latter......I would of course cover shipping cost of the tow hook to me, and the shipping back, Anyone else interested?

Nice! I have been running mine for 2+ years. Except I have a foam/rubber pad stuck to the back of the plate, so it can rest against the bumper w/ no damage.
