had to use to my $50 gift card, and my dealer matched mcgeorgeparts's price with shipping mostly and I get the front lip for like 101.50 or something like that. I didnt want the full kit really, as I like the simple sides it has. Hopefully it doesnt hang too low. Anybody else have this done?

yea. My other car has a simple lip kit, and it helps a lot. I forgot to even check or look if it was made of urethane...my other cars is, and it has a lot of flex to it....Then I gotta get it painted, and gonna have them color match my rear emblem to the car. Its black now...but might as well have em spray that too...anything else I should have em match ? heh.. I'll post up pics once I get it painted, should be next week probably...Just have to make sure they put that flake in the paint (black sand pearl). I hope the front dont look too low for the stock sides though...I doubt it.

 

It's just a plastic lip. Flexible, and lowers the line a little bit, but nothing drastic.

After getting it yesterday. I noticed the clips on the front lip on the inside. Apparently you have to take off the front bumper, and dremel holes in the back side of the bumper to slide the lip in. I think I am going to break those off, and sand them down flush and just use the mounting screws below the bumper, and some 3m tape up top Whatcha think? I dont like the idea of putting holes in it. What if i wanna take the lip off or put on a diff one someday...

 

i had my friend that owns a body shop order me a mugen lip from japan..its fits and looks sick yah i know its for a honda but we had to extend the ends 2'' to fit its all custom and im so happy i actually like it better than the factory lip kit..i wanted to put a carbon fiber front lip but where i live there is so many holes and bumps and if i hit soemthing because my tc is slammed i dont wnat it 2 b a waste of money...

Yea I would of liked a CF lip/hood too...but maybe down the road...I was thinking of what to get with the $50 gift card, and nothing from the dealer I wanted, cause it costs too much. like strut bars, pedals etc. I'd rather get em off ebay for like 1/4 the price

 

yah but bro trust me i rather go throught the dealer because i have had bad luck with ebay and my friends have to so its up to you id raher spend a few bucks more and know what im paying for then getting something that doesnt fit or is the wrong thing..u know...ill have pics soon..i wanna do a few more things to my tc then i put pics on....its still in the shop..ssshhhhh!!!
