Default Front lisence plate

OK. So i know its sorta illegal to remove your front lisence plate in CA , but it looks SO much better. Anyway. There are the 2 drill holes. Is there anyway to fill those? or make them less obvious?

I believe that about Ah-nold raising the fines. He needs to make some $$$ somewhere since he ain't making $$$ anywhere else! I guess the front plate thing depends on your ride. If you have a tricked-out who-ryde, then you're just itchin' to get pulled over by the po-po. My g/f's bro has a Honda Accord that's about 6 yrs old and it has no front plates and hasn't been pulled over yet. Of course, the car is stock as heck!

For New York people, there is a petition you can sign to get rid of the front license plate. Sign below:

haha i just noticed this thread moved.. is it because the front license plate counts as air friction, thus adding more drag to the car? haha, gave me some giggles there

Heres a pic with bumperplugs installed

And FYI, the OC isnt even filmed in Orange County. They film most of the stuff here in Redondo Beach about a mile from my house.

I dont watch the show, but i know they filmed a lot of stuff in an empty retaurant. Its now been bought and changed so you probably wouldnt recognize it. I have friends who watch the show and live in Orange County and they went around looking and found a bunch of places they recognized from the show.

the front plate law is stupid, and drilling holes in a new car just to obey the law is just rediculous. I told the scion dealership where I live that I was moving away to school to VA where you don't have to have a front plate so they wouldn't drill holes in my car. I have been pulled over once for it, but I explained to the cop that I wasn't drilling holes in my new car, and he gave me a verbal warning. I'll pay the $45 fine if I get a ticket, rather spend $45 then drill holes in my car. just my .02

I wish I could get rid of the front license plate. Bumper plugs do look really good though. And the show the OC and others like Laguna Beach represent a very very small part of Orange County.
