i remember someone made a carbon fiber rear diffuser but you attach it like it was a lip. it looked okay but was nonfunctional though.

No manufacturer will make one for a while.
They dont want to hear all you guys complain. If they did, only a certain exhausts will clear it.

Testa that was a universal splitter that was installed by cutting the rear bumper... No thanks I don't do that I'll modify the splitter but I won't touch the bumpers

 

Dont get me wrong dude, i want one for my tC badly also but no all of the exhaust they have out in the market will clear a diffuser, if they made one.

 

thats why they make it for the stock exhaust and if your aftermarket doesnt fit then you cut it to fit.... like all the other ones.

 

Like this kind of Diffuser are you interested in? I don't think they can test fit a Diffuser with our axle back OEM exhaust.
Or I guess I haven't seen a Diffuser with a Axle Back Exhaust.

 

ive always loved the evo and sti diffusers they have on the market or even OEM ones. would our car even benefit from having one with the way our cars are setup?

Got some rough measurements on this diffuser and the stock rear bumper. It is about sixty inches in length.
Nothing has been mounted yet. Still debating if I am going to go through with this setup or not.

oh that looks awesome! Its hard to make a rear diffuser for the tC because our bumper is short, however. That looks money. Perhaps you can cut some of the rear bumper and then match the diffuser on. The exhaust hole ruins the flow. Do what Skeet did.
