Gap between Bumper and Headlights: Help!
I pulled my front clip off today to install a new pair of headlights. One of mine had a crack in it--left over from the good folks at Power Collision Center in my area. Sorry if I sound bitter.
Front bumper came off OK, thanks to the great how-to's posted on here:

Here's some bodyshop work from Power:

That's epoxy, used to fix the mounting clips they broke on my grill while painting it.
I figured what the heck, and used the same epoxy on the other side to keep the grille in place.

Bumper went back on OK, but there's now a gap under the headlights I can't seem to get rid of. It doesn't look too bad in this picture, but it wasn't there before. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

And yes, I did use the mounting clips off the original headlights...

I have this problem too after I got my car stuck in the mud the first week I had it. The right side came out so I just pushed it back in but its not as tight to the light as the other side is.
Took it to the dealership today. They said the mounting holes in the bumper had been 'stretched' 'by someone sitting on the bumper' or 'something like that.'
Also said it would cost around 1,300.00 to fix at a bodyshop.
Which seems real darn high to me. So what I'm asking is, does anyone have an idea for a fix, even if it means adding zip-ties or epoxy to the back of my stock bumper.
Someone must have had this problem with all the folks who have removed their stock bumper to install something on here.

I've taken mine on and off more than I care to remember (damn hid adjustments) and there's two things you could check.
1. the foam block can slide/tilt down a little. Make sure its flat against the metal so it doesnt push the bumper out.
2. there are horzontal slots below the headlights the bumper tucks into, make sure they're clipped in tight, then screw down the corners, attaching the bottom bits last.

Are there metal clips on the bumper that clip into the mounts under the headlights?
I wasn't sure if I lost a part or not. Either way, it definately didn't 'click in' tight at all when I mounted it... Maybe I'll have to put something on there.
