Does anyone else have a mad man fogging problem? Mine is on my passenger side, I resealed the boot, replaced the bulbs and everything and the damn thing is still fogging. I'm ready to throw it across the room.

I tested the seal before I re-installed them. Nothing.
If you see them for sale in the next week don't be surprised

 

i'd take fogging over busting a lens any day! but I understand the frustration... There's moisture in there... Maybe you sealed it in there?

 

nah, let it COMPLETELY dry. i even have pics right after i reinstalled them.

 

Any way you can throw some silica gel packets in the fogs to absorb the moisture?

 

bake em, open them up, clean em & reseal with silicone? No warranty on them?

I have a new lens along side my used and slightly tarnished lens. No fogging, but they do look very different. Little overlay magic fixed that right up.

But in all seriousness, I'd replace the thing. Fogging sucks.

weird. I remember so many people saying how great VRDs are . They should make fogs more accessible, sucks to have to break them open.

 

never had mine fog up, but did shatter my lens dropping it...

speaking of that, anyone have a drivers side laying around?... ;)
