Default Got my KeyHole Plugs...

got my KeyTechniques Plugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was surprised that they were only made out of a Plastic tab where one of the 2 prongs got cut off etc...
They didnt fit well....I had to get a razorBlade and trim some of the backing so it sat Flush inside the keyhole...Seems like they will fall-out they come our Very easily!..
Oh well...for $18 pretty good!...

This what they came in..a Ring Box...lol..Pretty Creative!

I was reading up on them and they say to use contact cement to get them to hold tight I want to get a pair but I don't know about using contact cement I don't feel comfortable what if one day I need to use the key and I can't get keyhole opened.

Did you install them properly? Mine are stuck in there and I didn't even use glue as recommended.

Keep in mind that one of the two prongs is cut off because it needs to be due to the essentric nature of the lock. This is my design and if somone goes out and does this they will be copying my hard work. If you get a plug with one stright prong then it will not sit flush becaus its not possible.

My covers use two different types of adhision promotors, chroma paint and German clear coat.
You pay me $18 and you get what you pay for.

Please dont compair Home depot touchup paint jobs to my work its an insult.

In regard to the contact cement. I have had more then one thousand cars using these method and not even one person has reported any problems. Contact cement is a low tension adhisive that works well for this application and its non distructive.
Anyone here that has done so does not have any problems with their locks so lets put that to rest.

Thanks
dev
