I have a friendly challenge for you. If you send me a sample of your home depot job covers and if they are anything like my quality I will give you $30 no questions asked. Just let me know.

Thanks

The bitter irony is that it would cost someone much more to make then $30.
Its no secrete that the raw covers are not expensive and that's not what its about. Its the preparation, materials and execution not to mention the customer service.
Its because all of you split the cost of materials I can offer them for the price I do.

Painting polycarbonate is not as easy as it seems and that's why the new version uses 2 kinds of adhesion promoters that melt the paint on to the cover to become one with the cover.

I offer anyone this challange but please dont think you can simply order a pair from me and send them back to get your $30. LOL

its not worth my time to try and prove something to you. I was not questioning your quality, I am just saying that I would not pay $18 for something i can do myself. Props to you for convincing ppl to buy and making good money off of this

Sure thing. I did not mean to hurt or offend. I just want others to know what is involved with making these covers so they know that Im not just minting money.
Everything is hard work and time allready invested. I have many satisfied coustermers and in the end that is really what matters and again you get what you pay for with my product.

I could cut costs and make it cheaper but then I would have fewer coustemers because Scion owners in general are very picky when it comes to quality.

Well to let you know I tried many prototypes and at one point I almost gave up and was going to get them made from a manufacture but the cost involved for what they wanted was more then what I could afford and what you can afford to pay.

Even the cover that is made for the XB is not specific for the XB but it works and does the job nicely and many like it.

The reason I charge more for the tC covers is the amount of Labor that goes into each one of them.
At the end of the day its what works and if it saves me money then you will save money as well.
I am a small operation but if you go to Bumperplugs.com they do exactly the same thing Im doing. To make specific covers for each application needs big time investment and must be purchased in the hundreds of thousands and its only lucrative for Toyota to do so.
