I have seen a couple of places where people have put different logos, graphics, etc. on the underside of their hood on the liner. I am curious what they used. Is it some kind of decal or did you paint it? If it is tastefully done, I think it can look pretty good and might add a little big of a "wow" factor at shows. Thanks.
I did mine:

Removed the liner from the hood. Made my own stencil. Taped it on. Used some high-temp engine paint. Did some touchup/overspray cleanup with paper towels and paint thinner. Looks pretty good if I do say so myself.

^^That is the pic I saw that got me thinking about doing this. It looks really nice. Is it very hard to get the engine paint to stick on the liner and look clean? It seems like the liner is really fiberous and would be hard to paint.
Ya... there are a few mirror panels I've seen for the xB out there. I don't think there's anything for the tC yet. Unless you make your own.
I'll stick with just my liner for now. I run autox and such, and I wouldn't want any loose mirror pieces sliding around under my hood.
As for the paint. It's not as bad as it seems. You just have to do quite a few coats. Of course, the area you're painting is small, so it doesn't use too much paint.
When I pulled off the stencil, I actually had a LOT of overspray in areas I didn't think I would. The hardest part is getting the stencil to stick (pourous material and all
). But that's why I said, paper towels and paint thinner will clean everything right up.
