it would probably be good of me to take a complete set of pics next time my bumper finds its way off the car.

I haven't decide whether I want the lower grill yet... it's only 8 dollars more if I buy them separately then together... I just screwed it in the best I could... I believe it's tight enough... I will take the bumper off when I install the fog light... I just don't have enough time today... it looks pretty clean with the new upper grill... i know it looks weird with 2 different grills, but... thanks for your help... at least i got the upper 2 screws tighten up... I just installed the m3 style spoiler, and it's raining outside... so i couldn't take my car out for a ride to see if the grill is loose or not...

who did you get the grill from?

i got mine from www.namotorsports.net

and in a way they could be right, the top part of this grill was never ment to entirely replace the stock top grill.

How difficult is it to remove the bumper and did it realign easily or did you have to really tamper with it to get it where it needed to be?

i just tore the thing out... and it aligns right up... there are little clips or something that held in the stock bumper... they just catch the grillcraft grill

the bumper is really easy to take on and off. it has tabs on it that you just smack right back in and if its a little off you can tell.

I actually took off the stock grill pretty fast. It was held by several clips and 2 of them were melted. I just used some force and pulled that out from the inside (engine bay). Then I adjusted the position of the grillcraft grill, used a screwdriver to mark where the bottom screw should be. then I just drilled 3/16" hole there, put on the metal clip, screwed that in, then clipped the top 2 to the plastic above it, and screwed them in... the hardest part installing without taking off the bumper was to screw them in because there's limited space for a socket wrench for the bottom one... I just forced the screw in, and it seems to me that it is pretty secured...

the easiest way to hold any grill on is just drill smalls holes in a bunch of the tabs, and use BLACK zip ties to hold the grill on. cheep easy and your grill wont move.

before you bash me about having hols in your bumper....read this...the holes i drilled on the tabs, are not visable when you put the stock grill back on.

IMO its WAY easier than dealing with screws and clips.

as for taking the bumper off or not. it is ten times easier to remove the front bumper, it only takes 3 minutes, and then you can work on it w/o any trouble or the car being in the way.

and those that arent taking off the bumper are only intalling the top part of the grill. not the whole shebang.

and easier it may be but the grills already come with the screws and clips. i would have to have gone out and gotten ties and i would still rather only drill one whole in there rather than three.

i still feel that the clips/screws would be easier, imo
