The grill mod write up was done by Badseed. He now does them and took the DIY post down. If you already have the bottom grill and chrome piece he will do it for 30 dollars. If you dont then you will need to pay him I believe 80 doallars.

It's a matter of trimming the bottom grille to the shape of the top one and then heating it (in an oven I think) so it becomes soft enough to bend to the contours of the top grille area.

What are you doing for the bottom grille? OEM (style) fogs?

You don't have to heat up the grille at all!

It's a very easy mod to do. Just trim the extra bottom grille to shape, use double-sided 3M tape to attach to chrome trim, pop trim and grille back in place.

if you need help once you get the spare grille, PM or AIM me...i'll help you out.

This mod is easy to do. I just can't provide a DIY because I'm already done with it and I didn't take pictures when I was doing it. Just be creative and you'll make this mod easy for you too. :D

Same here. I did it at 3am, going on about 4 hours of sleep, and still managed to get it done WITHOUT the DIY.
