i must be missing something here sorry for the noob question

help please these come with HID's and everyhting for 270.00 why? i read about people paying $1200 for this setup! confused.. please help

I dont see why not.

 

I wouldnt add the HID's even with the poor Projector. HID's are only good with real Projectors (High Quality)... HID's and Stock Headlight's do not mix.... Plus it is illegal.

 

its cheap because they are simply cheap. my friend had some and they burnt out in a few weeks and plus the halo's wernt even bright at all.

 

people paying over $1200 are buying professionally installed retrofits which are custom built

anything custom that you aren't making yourself is gonna cost ya. that's why most people do it themselves.

 

is it crazy hard to do it yourself?

 

a little... takes some mechanics to it... bake open the headlight.... rigging things.. "retrofit" things together...

buying all the supplies needed... etc.. etc..

and lots of time and patience... you get a good idea from this thread
