Default Ground Effects Kit Question

Sup guys...I just need some feedbacks and opinions regarding the ground effects kit offered at dealerships. I'll be getting my tC sometime this week and I know for sure that I'll be getting the TRD springs and shocks/struts. I'm considering adding the ground effects kit as well but I'm not sure if it's going to be difficult driving through those speed bumps and driveways...like I have to angle my car to go through them without scraping my front bumper/kit. I know the TRD suspension has the least drop but I just want to make sure that I don't have to worry about scraping my front bumper/kit. Basically this question is for tC owners that have the TRD suspension and ground effects kit. Feedbacks and opinions are welcome. Thanks

You're deffinately gonna have to take them easy, I would mostly be worried about it hitting your exhaust too.

What do you mean by easy though? I'm usually cautious and slow down whenever I come across speed bumps and driveways. Do you mean I have to angle my car to go through them or just go through them as normal and be extra cautious and extra slow? I'm also getting the TRD exhaust...I hope I don't scrape. I know for sure I'm getting the TRD suspension...but if adding the ground effects kit adds to my worrying about scraping my front bumper/kit...then I might as well not get it. Any more opinions?

trust me, your car won't be low enough with the trd kit and suspension to worry about angling. you can take them straight on.

^^^What he said. The stock TC looks like it is ready for flood that's why I got the S-techs.

Cool cool thanks for the feedbacks...TRD spring/shocks/struts & ground effects kit combo it is then! I think it would look nice...since I'm not into the ricer look with the too low drop with bodykits that drivers have to slow down on everything and worry about scraping and holding back cars in back of them in minor dips, speed bumps, etc....I'm more into the clean look...just cruise without worrying about anything

i think the tein s tech has a cleaner look than the trds. The trd looks pretty much stock height IMO.

you could even get the tein H techs. i believe its 1.9 front and 1.7 rear? a little lower than the trd drop and a little higher than the S techs

You could also just hold off on the ground effects kit for now. Go find yourself some typical speed bumps you'll go over daily and put your car in park halfway over. Then you can get out and see how dangerous it is .

Thanks for the feedback guys...I actually just passed by a nearby Toyota dealership and just looked around...I saw an RS 1.0 with ground effects and the TRD shocks/springs on them...looking at it from the side answered my question...I should not worry about scraping or even angling my car going through speed bumps, driveways, etc...just need to drive normally...thanks again!

Too late my car is being delivered for free at my house with those options installed on Friday. I agree on the ridiculous pricing but I ain't promoting...just sharing my experience at the dealership.

i have the OEM kit with the TRD drop, you dont have to worry about nothing...you can go head on down a driveway exit and not scrape the front, just exit slowly, lol.

i had two slammed Preludes before the tC, and its lovely not having to worry anymore

Thanks for posting up a pic eujin...your ride looks tight! Yeah I'm going with the same look where it just sits right and not worry about anything. The stock springs are just too highwaters for me hehehe. How's the ride quality since you don't have the TRD shocks/struts?
