a low beam went out in my left light.... i looked on SYLVANIA's web site and saw that the 08 tc takes H11 bulbs can i just go into my local autozone and just get H11 replacements? i've herd that there is issues when you do that?

 

uhm...it's a lightbulb...they burn out...you buy a new one or pair, and replace'em. where does the issue come up?

so long as you buy a quality bulb, and install it without touching the bulb with your hand, you're fine.

 

The only issue other than touching the bulb would be replacing it with a different temperature bulb. Your new bulb would be brighter or whiter than the OE bulb which could be more yellow. It's best to buy a new pair but if matched, one bulb will work.

 

you should always replace bulbs in pairs, when one burns out, the other may be soon to follow.

If you want to upgrade to HIDs, that's a great choice. I recommend 5000K and 6000K but if you want 8000K, go for it.

yes h11, because they are brighter and not ricer blue

 

Still 8000k wont look that blue on the projector compared to the reflector headlights. I got 8000k's on my 08's and they looks mostly white, but I do want to go with 5000k's myself.

 

The higher the temperature, the more dim it gets as well, so 5000K is technically brighter than 8000K.
