Default Headlight Armor w/ HID Issues???

Anyone have any Headlight Armor or overlay w/ HID Issues?

Does the overlay cause any extra glare with HID's?

We have never had any issues with HID's and our Headlight Armor. HID's run significantly cooler (they make more light than heat) than traditional halogens.

Depending on the type of HID's you are fitting adding our HID Blue covers will make the light 'bluer' when they are first turned on and are warming up, other than that not other factors.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Note sure what you mean by glare? With either the Clear or HID Blue ones you wont really be able to tell there is anything protecting your light when you are sitting in the car. With the Smoke ones it is going to be like looking out a windshield that is tinted.

I assume so, But if the tint darkens your light out put on hids....what would be the point of having hids and tints?

Tinted HID's may still have a little more output than halogens, but not much. It's mainly for show...

With our Clear or HID Blue the glare to oncoming traffic is not going to be any different than running without them installed. If you don't currently generate glare the covers will not add any; if you are generating glare the covers will not diminish it.

Hope that answers your question.
