i've got foglight and headlights with yellow HID's in them ... i love the full yellow look (since you dont see much here running yellow) and its completely legal here in IL, but i have gotten harrassed by cops a couple times just in the past month, since i've put them in, i have regular white HID bulbs for both headlights and foglight (4300k) trying to get opions on which to keep, all yellow, or just the fogs yellow, headlights white, or all white headlights and fogs. thanks... FYI its the dark grey mettallic

 

They are probably pulling you over cause of the HID's in the fog lights. It causes a lot of glare. I would say get the PIAA bulbs for your fogs and call it a day.

 

you tC color is Flint Mica btw. 4300k HIDs for the lowbeams, yellow "bulbs" for your foglights.

 

I have 3000k HIDs in my APT/VRD foglights. But my foglights have a 35% tint overlay on them. Never had a problem with the cops and they are still pretty bright and yellow.

well there legal here and i really like the yellow for the fogs, but i dont know if i want to keep the headlights yellow or not, just because i've got like 4 or 5 tickets possibly coming to me even without the car rolling... i dont want to give them ANOTHER reason to pull me over...

I say at leaset change your headlights to white....but i'm somewhat biased because I don't like the look of yellow headlights..yellow fogs are fine but yellow headlights are just..ewww

 

I used to have 6000k hids with the yellow vrd fogs and it looked awesome...
yellow and yellow is eh...

 

Yeah im running 600k hid's and the PIAA 2500k yellow fogs in my VRD's. It really stands out and IMO looks amazing.

 

my fogs are not HID but they call them 2500k I guess
