Pretty sure its a straight swap. Just use H1 bulbs instead of the 9002 or whatever the 05-07 uses.

05-07 use 9006 bulbs and 08-10 use H11 bulbs, if you already have an HIDs on your car then just buy new bulbs and that's it. as the 08-10 headlights use the same high beam bulbs/plugs and parking lights as well, they also fit just like your 05-07 headlights so you don't have to modify anything to get them on the car.

You need the H11 connectors. You can't just swap bulbs unless you have a HID kit. This has been discussed several times before.

if you order an h11 kit it should come with everything you need. the only difference between the 9006 and h11 kit is an extra set of wires.

i have an 07 an upgraded to 08 JUST by getting an h11 kit and taking out the extra connectors.

You take the old headlights out and put the new ones in. Pretty straight forward. For the HID kit, just order one with H11 bulbs instead of 9006. Anything else you need to know, try searching. The answers are there.
