Are the headlight wires for the 2006 Scion tC the same gauge for high and low beams? I am looking at the wiring diagram and the circuits look identical, so it seems that using 9005's for both high/low would be completely normal. Let me know what you think!

 

they are identical. cheaper to manufacture that way.

I run 9005s in my low beam sockets and have done so on my last couple toyotas over the years with no problems.
