Default headlight stays on no matter what

hi guys, know its my first post here but cannot find any answers.

My headlights stay on no matter what I tried, I pulled out all the relays that I can see, included under the hood by the battery and my headlights stay on.

I also switched the headlight switch, but still the same. Anyone else had this issue before?

It's getting impossible to drive at night, and then having to open the hood to manually disconnect the headlight wires thanks so much in advance

The previous owner did some hokey wiring... If the headlights stay on no matter what, then that means they are wired to only a constantly hot wire, which would be one that hooked right to the battery. You need to follow the wires from your headlights to see where they are tied-in.

ugh electrical problems are the worst

This problem just started happening, first it was sporadic so I unplugged the wire. Now its just a constant.

So there are no relays or anything that I can first check? Its hard to follow the wiring because they look OEM and bundled with many other wires

Lol I mean first it was sporadic so I unplugged it. The when I replug it, the problem fixed itself. Now no matter what I do there is a constant 12V at the plug.

Go to this site and pull-up a schematic.

If you have any wiring mods, start with whose first.
Good luck
