problem, i have a 05 tc and the braces in the back are not supporting the trunk...trunks real heavy and dangerous if i even let it go 6in from the hinge. where can i get these braces so i wont have to workout every time i want to open my trunk....please help....

 

i think your hatch struts are blown. go to a toyota dealer they should be able to sell them to you. or check trdsparks.com or mcgeorgeparts.com

get the upgraded shocks (the ones for the ped. spoiler) your trunk will rise super fast!

You just don't want to get the CF trunk AND the upgraded struts, otherwise, your hatch will fly up really fast everytime you open it... someone I know found this out the hard way.

OMG!!! freakin over $100 a piece for each shock...what the hell is that all about!!!

 

it retails at more then that price at the toyota dealership. that price they're quoting is probably net price+tax (i know its ridiculous!) i got quoted 99/each at a dealership for the autogroup i work for. but thats because i get employee discount just be glad you dont have to replace a stock Lexus HID bulb. those bulbs retail $300 each. for 1 bulb!

 

whats so special about lexus bulbs?
