Hey im tryin to install a new grille in my 2008 tc and im having troubles taking out the bottom grille without breaking it..does anybody have some suggestions or hints how to get it out?

 

So what grille are you installing? Did it not come with any directions?

 

the grille from customtc.com it said it shud pop out i was havin troubles wit it but finally got it out ill get pics up of install in a bit

Cant u use a Flash?...or go under a Light????

if ur talking about the oem bottem grill...that one pushes in ..lol if u wanted u could just kick it ..but really there are tabs behind in on the inside of the bumper if u really wanna be picky about it u could take the engine undercovers off and push back on the tabs one by one to free it or just get some even force and push it back.

 

lol yeah thats wut i did i got frusrtated wit it and basically punched it out didnt break anythin so thats good and yeah its a cloudy day ill get better pics on a sunny day

 

The customtc.com grilles look A LOT like the FIG Grilles.

 

It looks completely identical to me in every way, but the FIG grilles came first. I wonder what's up with this. Some kinda partnership?
