Default help with LEDs

so i bought a pair a white/blue license plate LEDs maybe a couple months ago..and i checked em like a week a ago and the left one was out. then i checked it again tonight to make sure it was the left side that was out and now both are out.

is this normal? should they only last this long? if not, what could be the problem?

if it helps, the left side always goes out first. this isnt the first time this happend but the other times i just figured that i'd change em b/c they've been in for while.

no they should last longer then regular lights...
problems like that usually are because of they arnt "fully" plugged in or pushed far in ive changed all my dome lights and i really had to shove them in there.. along with my license plate ones. i also had 2 shorrt out about after a week i installed them and i contacted the company i purchased them from and they sent replacements back very quickly.
hope it was helpful
pm if u need more help

i dont think the problem is that it isnt inserted all the way b/c i pushed them in as far as possible without damaging them.

it might the water condensation thing i guess then. makes sense though, i wash and detail my car at least once a week, and plus it rains quite a bit over here.

if you use dilectric grease on the connections prior to install it will greatly help reduce moisture from getting in the terminals.....any parts store has it.

they do burn out quicker in the license plate area. i think its the resistors on teh bulb. the voltage gets more than 12v when the car is running so the resistors don't hold up and burn out.
correct me if i'm wrong.
