Default Help with new HID bulbs

Alright, I have the operatic HID kit as seen here

Now, I just got oem headlights so I ordered new HID bulbs (previous size were H7's) and I got them today... opened it up everything was fine except for this little harness

the one on the top left i know is for the standard power, but WTF is the one on the bottom for? It looks to connect to the oem harness, but then theres the other end that cant go anywhere. It looks like its for a car that doesnt need a ballast. My kit now already has the relay harness and all that, but what do i do with this odd harness?

Thanks

just cut it off

Im pretty sure you use it if you want to power the ballast directly from the OEM harness.

yes you can, solder, crimp connects, twist tie and electrical tape lol

but i doubt he'll need to uncut. Just look at the wire. Its not connected to the bulb in any way. Its only attached to the other wires by a rubber grommet type thing. I had the same sort of extra wire on my MobileHID kit. The extra wires are completely useless if your using a relay.

it really wouldnt be that big of a crisis. Again solder can undo any wire cutting.

is it turn on signal for the relay? meaning it plugs into the stock socket, so when power is supplied to it, it signals the relay to turn on. don't cut it. if you can take it out of the grommit. but don't cut it since there is no need to.

and...

why did you get H7 bulbs? 2005-2007 are 9006 bulbs. 2008-2009 are H11 bulbs. so.... why did you get H7 bulbs? Call 3bspec, and they'll send you out the corrent bulbs for free.

he had anzos which use H7, he switched recently to 05-07. He already has circuits for his HID system correctly wired up he just needs to plug in the new bulbs. The extra wire is useless.

right, so he ordered the wrong bulbs. the 05-07s are 9006. simple mistake. i'm still sticking with that the extra wire is not useless. prove me wrong.

i had anzo headlights, so i had H7 bulbs. so it was not a mistake. DUR.

and the relay harness already has the power supply to the ballast via battery, and it turns on by the single plug on the harness. can someone who knows wtf this is for please respond?

hmm, regularly the hid bulb in the picture would be used like this. the two little plugs on the top plug intot he ballast along with the one on the bottom. the one on the right closest to the bulb plugs into the stock harness in your car. when u have a relay harness, all what is the relay harness would plus into the one closest to the bulb. and then the actual relay harness plugs into the stock wiring but only uses one side of the stock harness, such as only the right plug or the left plug. im not sure when u mean when u say wrong bulb, but if the connector is wrong u can just cut it off and solder it onto the other bulb if that is what your problem is. i hope that helped.

unplug your old h7 bulbs completely so that they are out the car, and then replug these ones in, u will see that every plug is gunna be used. if u need more help just message me ill help ya as best as i can.

I assume that you got yours working already ... but I just put in the same kit into mine... just tied the other wires out of the way... you won't need them.
