All that is is an extender in case the stock 9006 plug doesnt reach the ballast where you want to mount it.

You can cut it off and save it in case any of your harnesses ever fry or something.

Uhhh, yeah mate, I did read the thread, and not one person said that those extra harnesses were extenders in case the stock wiring did not reach where the ballast were mounted.

Sorry for contributing I guess?
