i installed my headers to my car and the person that did it had greasy hands! being that my headers now had grease on them its been a couple of days and i havent cleaned them! I now realize that when you have grease on headers and you turn on your car, the headers heat up real good. lesson learned, now i cant take the grease of with anything and my question to you is.....

Is there anything out there sugested to clean grease of my headers..Looooks horrible!
Has anybody gone through and had a positive outcome

 

I've heard rubbing alcohol can help... but I don't know about after they've been run the first time.

 

i used mothers mag and aluminum paste polish that you can get from autozone. it doesnt get all of it but it does a pretty damn good job at getting a lot of it out. you should try it on your header and make sure do it when your header is cooled down.

wet sand the header, or at least the grease spots, then use w/e metal polish you want.
