Default HID bulb question

First of all, I would like to apologize for my n00bishness on the topic. I purchased HID-Extra's 6000K kit for my 2008 tC months ago. Well my cousin also has 6000k in his G37. I'd like to know how the heck is his brighter than mine? I know its the bulb because he also has a 35watt ballast. I searched for a bit earlier but my lack of sleep due to overworking on Friday has temporarily paralyzed the majority of my brain cells. Help a bruva out eh? lol.

Which bulbs are the best for 08 projectors with HIDs? Which are the second best? Third best?

His projector lenses on his headlights are also probably a lot better than the tc, that plays a major roll too

His headlights are designed for HID lighting. Yours' are designed for a halogen bulb. There are naturally going to be differences.

yeah g37s come with HIDs in them already. they are definitely HID projectors.

Although how bright is yours? Can you post up a pic. I have HIDs in my tC and they look bright. I have HIDs in my 350Z too, but they are of a different temperature and the light isn't scattered, it's concentrated because the projectors are made to house HIDs.

By relay kit, do you mean relay harness? I purchased that as well. Sounds like if I want more brightness I will have to do a retrofit, which I'm to lazy, broke and ignorant to do lol. I didn't want to but I may just toss in some HIDs for my APT's.

Yah, so I've read. But I wanted to retain the light blue tint the 6000k offers.

you throw out intensity when you go higher kelvin. his G37 headlights are brighter and of course ALOT more better because everything is made for running HIDs. the 08-10 scion tc headlights are NOT made for HIDs, they're made for halogens. when you put something in there thats not meant for, it will not work to its potential. stick with the 4300k to be the brightest from your options. maybe even a 55w digital kit.

If I get a 55w digital kit, would it increase light output? What about better 6000k bulbs?
