first off man enough with the CAPS really, we can all read, well atleast i hope we all can. But when you hit your door lock button the turn signals flash thats about it, but if you have an after market alarm i know some of them flash your headlights, if thats the case just snip and tape the wires from the alarm relay that makes the headlights flash and your done, nice and simple

you asked for help but i need more "info" to actually help. if i understand what you are asking, you want to know if there is a way for your "hid" lights not to be affected by you setting the alarm because you only have about 3000 hrs available.
i'd have to say "no", and everyone else watching this thread knows what i mean.

btw turn off the caps.

not with keyless entry, no
its only parking lights that blink

if you've upgraded your alarm system it MAY do that
depends on the system

but from the factory the tC headlights DO NOT come on when locking/unlocking the car

The only time the headlights flash is if the alarm is activated, either by pushing the panic button or otherwise.

Default HID

I think what he's asking is that when he holds down the "panic" button, the lights on our TCs flash while the alarm is sounding...the DRIVING lights are flashing on and off while the horn is also sounding. i think what your worried about is when you get after-market HIDs and when u push that PANIC alarm button the driving lights (HID) will be flashing on and off...i think your worried about them popping...i think what you wanna know is ...is there anyway we can disable the driving lights to flash.

i think ive pushed my panic button, 20times since ive had my car and my HIDs in
at no point did the HIDs pop or blow out
or even shed a hint of anything wrong

you'll be ok
just dont hit your panic button every 20seconds

HID Xenon bulbs also last 10x longer than halogens, at least that is what most kits say..I wouldn't worry about it..

While HID's normally last about 3000 hours (6x) longer than OEM halogen bulbs continual on and off will severely shorten there life. the reason for this is that the solid elements inside the bulb (when off they are a solid not gas) do not have ample time to get to a native temperature usually taking 20 seconds to as much as 1 minute with the new D4S bulbs. If the gasses do not reach a native temp they tend to burn less evenly on the next cycle and the next and so on then quickly reduce the bulb life. This is why many OEM manufacturers do not recommend turning there lights on and off more than two times per minute in the instruction manuals. Just my 2 cents
