Default HID Problem: Fuse Keeps Blowing

Tried my best to search, but couldnt seem to find any answers. So heres my problem.

I bought a 6000k HID kit from mobile HID about 3 months ago. Everything has been fine until about 3 days ago when suddenly my HID's failed to light up. I checked to see what the problem was and it turned out I had a blown fuse in the wiring harness of the HID kit. I replaced it with another 20amp fuse and it blew again as soon as i tried to fire them up. I tried one more time with another 20amp fuse to be sure, and it blew again.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

generally on 12v systems when fuses blow it is lack of circuit abilty to circulate.

check the relay for corrosion, check for bad ground contact and corrosion, check for bad seating in wire to stock harness, check for corrosion to harness, check for bad bulb.

try to light up one bulb at a time.......see if you can isolate problem to a bulb or ballast.

A bad ballast can pop fuses if it fails open to ground.......happens all the time.

also put the stock bulbs back in....hook them up to stock harness, leave the HID harnes out of circuit completly........that way you know if it in car realted or kit related.........and see if issue happens with stock bulbs.......

Check to see if there's any water in between the plugs. That's what happened to me.

Try a 30amp fuse. That's what my relay uses.

i had the same problem....i think the fuses were getting moisture in them, all i did was relocate the fuses and relay between the intake and battery. and its been fine for a few months now.

Also if it persists contact Clifford, he is really good. He fixed my set back up when I had an issue with my kit. Good feed back on the whole process and all.

k so i checked all of the connections, everything seemed fine no corrosion or anything.

so i tried isolating the problem. i tried my drivers side first, with the passenger side disconnected. everything was fine, bulb lit, fuse didnt blow.

i disconnected my drivers side, and connected my passenger side. i connected just the ballast and not the bulb, and the fuse blew right away.

so now that i have a good idea that its my passenger side ballast...wat should my next steps be? it should b covered under my warranty right? or is there something i can do myself to fix it?
