saw your video, i think its normal, the warm up period. My kit from Oz does that too. But sometimes the right bulb just die for a blink of an eye then goes back on

Define older...
I just got my kit 3 weeks ago and the ignitor is built in the ballasts. I know they're still thick but I think they're still pretty new.

Ummm ... yeah ... I don't think the flicker is that big of a deal if it's only doing it while warming up and if your lighting is not being affected. I don't think any HID maker can guarantee no flickers bc HIDs just do that sometimes because of they way they are designed and blah blah blah. They are also aftermarket which could be a reason ... i don't know. I think you should prolly do like someone else said earlier and switch the bulbs and see if the problem carries over ... then just make them replace the bulb.

More than likely it is your ballast having trouble maintaining the arc inside your HID bulbs. Have you tried switching the bulbs to see if the same ballast does it with a new bulb?

i know exactally what u are talking about.... i can't complain after having my hid'S for about a year and a half. for every night and day use... my ballasts are slowly goin it has the flickering .....at first it was just one but i now notice that the other side it was jsut a matter of time before they had to be replaced..

FYI : if your bulbs are about to go out u will notice a color change it will not seem as bright ( ex. blue will look more whiteish).. before the finally die.

What mine do is turn on and charge up, and after about 45-60 seconds, the right one pulses once and then the left. Then they are solid after that. Not sure if it's a point that the ballast charges too and then acts like a torque convertor in that it holds the current at a constant 35W. It's done this from day 1 but it doesn't flicker like your kit. I would contact the dealer and ask why it's happening and what problems have come up with their kits. If they are a reasonable and responsible dealer, they will tell you. Here's my charge up:

Maybe you need a wiring harness to go directly from your battery to the ballests? Or tell people there strobes and supposed to do that!

Yep . Wiring harness is to keep the power constant . If you do not use one , that might just be the problem . If so , simple fix .

Hey hey mine does that to about a min after i turn my lights on. Ive got one question when I am drving on bumpy roads my lightning seems to shake a little. Double checked my bulbs and there pretty steady.

It is an arc . NOT a filament . They WILL shake a bit . Do not feel like you ____ed your money away though . HID factory equipped vehicles do the same thing . Watch and you will see it . Good way to tell if you are seeing a tinted bulb or HIDs . It is perfectly normal
Hope that helps

Always a possibility you may have a problem but , as stated , HID factory equipped vehicles will shake too . Remember , it is an arc as opposed to a filament . An arc is less stable when shaken . My guess is you are experiencing nothing more than a normal HID shake . Enjoy the lights !!

Just watch when driving at night . You will see it in other vehicles . You are most welcome . We all get a bit unnerved when we buy something expensive that we are not used to and wonder if there is a problem . I have seen your lights dude . Nice look . Enjoy the ride...........
