Exclamation Hid's Question...New install

Okay, so I installed my 8000k hids today. And One is a cool blue and the other is a mint green.. I read the packaging inside and it say it needs break in time if the colors dont match. How long is this process?

i think its a couple hours i would just turn them on and leave them on and hopefully that will allow the gas in there enough time to get hot enough and condition them in

the only break in time is when you first turn them on for the first time, about 10 mins, other then that thats all,it should be that color right away, theres no break in period for the color..ive actually went through alot of hids kits before i found the right color i was lookin for, and that was from hidextra....

They should come with the exact same color brand new. I would request for a new set of bulbs.

I just switched from 8k to 5k, in the rain and fog I couldn't see **** with them. After I changed mine one was a little different color than the other. I am blaming it on the cheap bulbs though.

On topic....I don't think they really have a break in period. My 8ks were pretty much the same color shortly after I turned them on the first time.
