Default HID's in w/ halogen comparasion

well, yup, im a hippocrite, but i got them for a wedding present so Why the F not put them in right?

so heres some picts w/ the halogen on one side and hid on the other. camera realy added alot fo blue, but they are only 6000K. but yeah, they do need to be aimed a little but the glare isnt that bad. i've come at myself a few times and they are pretty good. easy install too, took 30min. 29 of htat was keeping the wires nice. its nice, they match my fogs color temp.

My interpretation of the last pic:

Blank screen = no projector.

Headlights = no projectors.

the blue walls signify my coldness toward oncoming traffic.....i dont care if you can see.....they were free. the single chair represents the solitude i feel as a scion driver on a road full of civics....i am an originator. the purple lamp signifies the surprise in me...you never know what you'll get...when u dig deep inside my mind. the screen...signifies how i cannot be read. im so deep....you cant even see me. watch, watch, watch....watch out....le Fin'.

HID bulbs are supposed to last much longer than halogens. As for 'frying' anything, there is a small possibility if you use the stock harness but a simple relay drawing from the battery eliminates the risk.

oops, i got picture happy, i was uploading on several forums and looks like i missed one. they guys on the audio forums asked the same thing when they saw a pict of HID'! LOL.. what can ya say, im a hippo-tard.

an no, they wont burn out. and no, if you buy hid's, you can get them in a 9006 kit and just throw them in as they come w/ the relays and everything all you gotta do is connect power and ground and one end into your stock 9006 light socket. done. takes less than 30min most of which is keeping they wires tidy.

and the screen is just a painted wall as the carpet is gonna accure the costs of a screen but it will look good, projector is in the wims of my buddy when i convince him to upgrade his and i get his old one. but i had to keep busy so i built the room first.. LOL

Nope, those are LEDs. Not really foglights, more of an aesthetic mod. Notice how they don't really shine any light on the ground.

He made 'em himself.

nice setup, with the leds fog lights and all. i might be saying this because its the same setup as mine. those leds match the 6000k's perfectly dont they? again, thanks for showing everyone your led foglight idea. i get compliments all the time. oh yeah, and your a hipocrit, all that projector and cutoff crap is overrated anyways.
