higher wattage bulb

ok so i understand if you use a higher wattage bulb you can melt the harness... but if i buy a wiring harness upgrade will i be ok?

btw im getting hids for xmas.... i just need somthing to hold me over.

That harness (at least the one pictured) does nothing but extend the factory harness to the headlight connector with larger wire, leaving the load on the rest of the stock harness just like it is now... in other words, it is useless. To properly run higher output bulbs without damaging your harness, you need a completely separate power circuit and the right size fuse, running through a relay, which is triggered by the original headlight harness power wire. That completely takes the higher powered load off the stock harness.
