unfort since you didn't see it happen and no witnesses are stepping up, the popo are right. unless the other car has your scion grille badge stuck to it there is no way to be 100% sure THAT car hit you (even though chances are it is).
just go through your insurance to get it fixed, hit and run is usually covered.

Yeah my tC was hit in a parking lot of a hotel over night, my insurance covered it, all i had to do is fill out a form at the police station and send it in, they covered it under " uninsured vehicle collision" insurance. So its worth a try

Do what my buddy did, find a car that is damaged around your area, match up the damage or find the paint marks that are on your car and his car. Then the cops will higher ferensic people or what ever and how ever you spell that.

OOOORRRRR!!! IF you have to get your fender, hood, side skirt, and door repainted!!! HMMM....

Get the whole thing repainted ;-)

yeah id agree the damage proves it cause the marks on the white car is about the exact same height to where the damage on your tC is. I just got hit and run about 2 weeks ago...I was so F'n ____ed but what i did was call my insurance and claimed it as a hit and run and they covered it completely. It didnt affect my rates or anything and an inspector came and pretty much matched the estimate i got. So it ended with a cash settlement and they sent me a check to fully fix the repairs, and oh yeah there will be a $500 deductible at least for my ins. company in california.

I would have said I heard a bang and looked outside and that I saw them driving away. Too late though.
That sucks. I was hit in my old car and the guy tried to run. I kept following him til he got the hint that i wasn't giving up. Too bad he didn't have insurance. which is why he ran in the first place. I didn't have to pay a thing with allstate. i actually made money doing it myself.
Sorry to hear about the upcoming surgery. Hope its not in the shop for too long.

It depends on what part of Wichita you live. Do you live in the ghetto or is your home **** to blowing away in a good t-storm?
