Hello. General Question for the advanced...
Can someone write a DIY for drilling hood pins into a cf hood. Where to drill, using what how o do it, etc... Pics would be great. For those that have it, post up!

 

just head to a shop, its easy.

 

some enthusiasts like to do stuff them self its fun try it

and as far as the hood pins ill do a write up once i order the hood and that isnt happening till i hit 14.9 sec 1/4 mile pass with no weight reduction

 

basically, i would use a very small drill bit to star tthe hole, keep using a bigger bit (not a unibit) to get the size hold u need (why do i say that? so you dont put any cracks in the hood).

you will also probably need to drill into the radiator core support to mount the pins.

I am hoping to order my CF hood this week, and i am going to pin it just to be safe =]

 

Imagine messing up and cracking a $500+ CF hood. Sweet jesus....

 

thats the reason why this topic was opened! lol, yeah that would suck... hoping for a DIY
