Default How Can I Invert the turn signal lighting to stay on and

So im trying to get this to work... What i want to do is basically when i turn my head lights on normally.. i'd like to have the turn signal bulbs in the headlights STAY ON.. and only blink when i use the turn signal lever... I did this back when i had my old EG when i put side markers on and it worked fine..

can anyone help or know how the hell i would be able to have them blink only when the turn signaling lever is in use? thanks..

Yes please someone help him out, I've been looking at I think G35s and they look great w/hids and the turn signals on. I've been thinking about doing this too, maybe my HIDs would look good too?

i dont know if this is goin to work or not i been wanting to get it but scared to spend the money on it and it not work but if you go to this link there is a LED bulb that will work as a running light and when the blinker is on it will turn amber. i have the reg led bulb with 36 leds on it and it is bright as hell.

I'm interested in this as well. I just put my stock headlights back in and when I wired them up I thought I had done something wrong because they didn't turn on with the headlights (I haven't used the stock ones in a long time so I couldn't remember). Its been bothering me ever since. Oh and yeah, my 8k hids with blue angel eyes look hot with the chrome amber turn signal bulb and amber side mirror blinkers i have in there now.

my dad just installed something on my bike that does exactly what you are talking about. Now my rear lights stay on, blinks for signals and lights up for braking lights too. I don't know if this works for a car, but I can take some pictures of the converter when I get home.

You can use a 5-pin relay to do this.

can you explain onzium??? give a diagram of what i can do on the tc?? or explain how it would work...any kind of info would be great! i know you sell the relay ( i think )..if its doable then ill buy the relay from you asap!

tcguy85: i thought about that but i didnt want to do that just yet... i'd rather keep those as they are and focus on the turn signals..

you take a regular 5 pin bosch relay... you can get them at radioshack... pin 87A goes to your parking light pos, 30 goes to your pos on the turn signal bulb... that way it stays lit... no for 86 that goes to your turn signal wire pos.... and 85 goes to ground... when the turn signal goes on... it will break the circuit to the turn signal.. and turn it off... thus making blink when you want to... and stay on when you want to....

The generic name for this relay is called an AUTO Relay. About 7 bucks at Radio Shack or just about any Car store... Advance, Auto Zone, O' Reilly and so on.

However i believe that there are 2 types of Auto relays. One is a 4 pin and one is a 5 pin. Just check to make sure you get the right one.

The newer 4runners have this as well. The amber lights in the bumper are used as DRL and turn signals.
