Default How does your paint match up?

More specifically, those of you who've had bumper covers or panels replaced from accidents, etc. I just got my car back from the dealer collision center and while the flint mica paint color matches up pretty well overall, the bumper cover that got replaced doesn't have that same metallic sparkle finish in it that the rest of the car does. Is this something I should bother bringing to their attention? Is this normal? I'm kind of bummed about it, but if it's normal, I'll deal. It just seems like maybe they tried to take a shortcut or something.

I had three panels replaced, all on the right side + rear bumper. The black sand pearl that they tried doesn't match the left side of my car .

I tried taking it back for them to fix it and all they did was buffed it up. They made excuses like the pearl is hard to blend. I told them its not the pearl, it's the actual color that doesn't match. whatever..

I called Scion and told them my situation and they told me to send a picture.. however the picture didn't capture the mismatch.

I was bummed. I gave up after awhile, and just accepted it. The paint differences was unnoticable to all my friends only when i pointed it out they'll see it.

If you notice a mismatch, take it back. It says that if its not done right, they have to do it again free of cost. Make sure u take a good picture of the color differences if you wanna go the distance of having it done right and send it to scion.
