i have the viper 5900alarm...but the lights dont flash when i lock/un lock anymore (unless i use the scion keyless remote) ...any suggestions from some alarm pros??

 

umm ur alarm tech probably didnt connect the wire for the lights or u have to configure it to flash, look in ur manual first to see if u can set it up, if u do it and theres still no flash the alarm wasnt fully hooked up

 

Have the place that installed it put in a $5 relay to connect it to the turn signals when you arm/disarm it. That's how I got mine setup because I didn't like the parkings lights flashing.

 

It will be a white wire with a 15 amp red fuse. If it use to flash then the fuse might be blown. But for the hazards to flash its actually a negative pulse. Its an orange wire i the A/C control assembly, pin 28. If you want to do this you will need to get a relay. Hook 85 to the white wire from the 5900, 86 to ground, 30 (common) to ground and 87 to the orange wire in the a/c control assembly. Hope this helps.
