well, i was pulling out of the parking garage at work (underground), and trying to check out the cute girl from my office (yeah, there's only one), and as she turns and sees me backing out and i see her, i cut a bit too early and SCRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPPE! there goes my passenger side door and mirror! =(

anybody know how much these run? the dealership is tellin me like $1000 for parts alone (unpainted)! does this sound right?

well, the first person i talked to at the dealership asked me if i needed a whole door or just the shell? i don't need the WHOLE door replaced . . . the mirror alone was $220 though, according to the second guy. i'm gonna go to this other place on my lunch and see what they say . . .

I recently just got into an accident about a month ago
and i got my fender, quarter panel, and door scratched like crazy

the total for a repair (not a new bumper) for the entire side was about $985 with a deal

but probably $1100 to the public..

so im figuring for a new door... and mirro 1990 ish is correct ...

well just think your repair will go alot quicker than 1 month
since your getting all new parts... because it took over 3 weeks to
repair and repaint my car.

goodluck... and get it fixed before any more summer rolls by lol...

i was searchin ebay for random stuff the other day and remebered seeing a door and thinking that it was weird that there was a door for sell.

it doesn't come with the mirror, the color might be off and the shipping was about 200 (i live in san diego).

Check out your local auto auction, tCs get totalled all the time. Don't ask me how I know, but it's unfortunately true.

PLEASE keep your tC insured, wear your seat belt and don't drink and drive. Your tC loves you. That's why she nags about the seat belt! :D

You can get a replacement mirror at Mcgeorgeparts.com. (roughly $145.) The door? I'm not too sure about that. I did a search and couldn't find the website me & my girl were looking at about replacing her Matrix front bumper. I thought I saw something about tC body parts there. If I can find it, I will post it for ya. If you have the $$$, you might wanna do this fix on your own. Your premiums will go up.
