Default how much would you guys pay for retrofitted projectors

i'm planning on the retrofit for the tc since i just finished my maxima. i was wonder if anybody will be interested in a set. the reason i ask is because i plan on buying an extra pair to do the work while i still have a pair on the car. when i'm done then i can retro the second pair and sell that off. i'm just want to see if its feasible. would you guys be interested in a pair of hid projector retrofit? right now the headlights cost about $300-$350 from dealer. projectors costs about $150 to $200 depending on the projector. shrouds or bezels range from $50 to $100. i'd sell the finished product for the cost of parts plus labor of say, $150.

you can check out some of the picture of my work on the maxima here, http://photobucket.com/albums/v632/maximus96/

750 is a bit much for lights imo. though they are projectors... and they are cheaper then the other retro fit out right now... do you think you could handel the order volume from stealing all of sombodys business... joking.

if i had the money to burn sure... but i think ill wait for a company to stat making them en mass droping the cost.

BTW your maxima looks reall good.

its more like a one time deal for me to make back the money spent on the second pair of headlights. its not really $750 since you can sell your stock pair for around $200-$250 or higher. well i guess if its not feasible i'll think of some other way.

Maybe when you're done with yours and you post pics, you might get more people interested, like me .

Ive asked this question before and gonna ask it again when it comes to the retrofit thing . When you do the retro fit on the headlamps , can you still adjust the beams like you did when they were stock , Or are the headlight beams fixed in one position ? When I ask if you can adjust them I am not askign about AUTO LEVELING or anything I am talking about screws on the back of the housing that aims the lights if they arent aimed right . Or with the retrofit you are stuck with how they are set in the housing and thats it ?

it depends on how you mount the projectors. some people use jbweld. jbwelding works well and usually glues the projectors into the reflector bowl very secure. you can then adjust the bowl like you normally would. but i think the tc only has up/down adjustment. i wouldn't know for sure until i take the headlights out. jbweld is semi permanent, you can still remove the projector if you must.

when i did my maxima, i chose to have a separate set of adjustments. i use spring loaded bolts that allowed for up/down, left/right, and rotation adjustments by twisting wing nuts in the back. that way i can fine tune the aiming process.

I am very interested. I've been looking for people in Houston to do it for me. HIDRetro charges too much. Like the other members have said, my issue is the aiming of the projector, I don't want it high to the point that it would blind people. Is that something you can adjust?

yea, like i mentioned in the previous post, i incorporate additional adjustment screws so the projectors can be aimed and adjusted by themselves, w/o affecting the hi-beam orientation.

also, please understand that in addition to the cost of headlights ($300) + projectors(depending on your choice) + shrouds (depending on your choice) + labor ($150), you guys will still need to aquire ballasts and bulbs on your own.
