It's not worth buying AT ALL for performance... it's ONLY and I mean ONLY an aesthetic modification.... all for looks...
to get effective downforce on our car, the spoiler has to be mounted much higher up off the car...and shouldn't be plastic...

I think your looking for something more along the lines of this:
Well... That's why I love you guys... You save me money. So what should I do about that back end wanting to get out from under me when I'm taking a slight curve on the freeway at 130 next to a civic si?
hehe.... performance being affected by a wing generally only applies to rear wheel drive (or AWD), very high-performance cars.... case in point, Subaru WRX Sti... yes, that huge wing and roof deflector are more than looks....

^ And notice the height as well.... (Although they look somewhat rediculous at that height, that's where they get clean air and are functional)

LoL - Tires and Suspension are what makes the car perform better at high speeds... get good sways... set them right, so you don't get too much US, or OS... and high speed movements will be much more solid....
I just took my tC out on Thunderhill Raceway and she did really well in some tough technical turns at high speed with my meager suspension setup and really good tires.
