it's obviously green lights is not legal

and for exhaust, all states says it's required to have a muffler that reduces noises (that's what it does) so if your exhaust sounds loud as a car with out exhaust, it's basically illegal

I dont understand why people insist on bending/breaking the rules when it comes to driving. Do you seriously want to get pulled? You will always get caught, just a matter of time. Personally I cant stand cops, total jerks around here and will do anything to avoid being pulled. I mean do the lights make you cooler?

I'm in Fl too...
There isnt a quota that cops have to meet. Its just that if everyone gave out 40 tickets per month, then the chief would want you to give out about the same amount to keep the average up.

Its going to be hard to argue anything about the exhaust either since the Drift-Spec takes out the Catalytic Converter. Well its illegal in Cali at least.

G'Luck though . . . ur gonna need it
hey.. I thought the drift spec was legal because it only took out the secondary cat.. We still have the cat that is connected to the header/s-pipe...

Removing or modifying emissions equipment on your car, including the secondary cat, is illegal in California. That being said... just don't get caught, and install the original mid-pipe when you get smog checked in 3 to 4 years.

...is illegal in California.
Actually, it's illegal anywhere in the United States, since it is against federal law, it's just that some states are much more serious about enforcement than others. (Some states don't even seem to know what a catalytic converter is.)

Pay the ticket, the lights of inproper color is NOT a moving violation and will not make your insurance go up. Trust me I have gotten plenty, I would not bother fighting it, I have tried because mine were green as well but there is no hope because its a distraction to other drivers. At one time I thought they were okay as long as they were not blue or red but I was wrong.

25106 cvc.: This code states that you may have white OR yellow (amber) lights/reflectors to the front of your vehicle.

25950 cvc : This code allows you to have white or yellow (amber) to the front of your vehicle, so clear corners are legal. Also under 25950(c) you can have a bulb of any unlighted color, as long as it lights up amber or white. So if you have a colored unlighted bulb, but it lights up white or amber your legal.

You can read all about this stuff from this website
