Default I just Painted the Fuse Box...(Pix)

Started with sanding...

then primered, and resanded a little

then started with the red paint

this is the first coat

did about 6-8 coats of red
and then 2 coasts of clear
and BOOM!

just thought id share, im doing the valve cover tommorow, and will post pics after,
im wondering if i should tape the letters and toyota symbol as one said
or if i should spray it all and then use a silver paint pen and go over the red as another said
what should i do?

I'd just get some blue/green automotive tape and use an xacto knife to cut the tape to the shape of the letters.

the fuse box looks nice, with the valve cover done, it should really set off the engine bay.
what kind of paint are you using? I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I cant find anything that will match NBM

For the letters, use a liquid masking film, available from most hobby/craft stores. Hobbico Master Mask is cheap and easy to use. Brush on and let dry, paint over it, then just peel it off when you're done.

im using some Engine pay that withstands 500 degrees, i got it from Adv. Auto Parts. and then clear coat thats made for the engine also ...

and bro just grab some red, i think thatd look good with NBM or maybe go with blue or black they have pleny of colors

and Dr.Iso that sounds like an awsome idea thanks
