alot of CF hoods don't need hood pins... hood pins are just that extra safety feature for paranoid people who are afraid of having their hood fly off... but then again, there are some racetracks that have rules about requiring pins... (if you go to the tracks) and then of course people who just think they look cool..

as far as companies who make CF hoods... there's Motor-FX, VIS, Kaminari, Racing Solution... well... uhh.... lots of companies..

 

None of the hoods on the market out for the tC require hood pins. I think Racing Solution has the cheapest hood right now for $325.00,
