Hey, PLEASE READ THIS AND GIVE ME YOUR OPINIONS...I GOTTA ORDER THESE TODAY! I trust the folks on ScionLife. I have the light blue (Azure Pearl) Scion TC. I'm trying to decide which headlight housings to buy. There's a pair that are chrome looking and a pair that are blacked out. With the color of my car I cannot decide which housings to get (chrome or blacked out). Which do you guys think would look best on the azure pearl TC??? Can anyone do a quick photoshop of these on a light blue tc? If either of these would not be compatible with HID's then let me know, I'm orderign HID's to go with the headlights. Below are the two that I'm trying to decide from. Yeah, they're both on ebay, but money is tight and my bro lucked up and got a good set that look similar to these.....so I'm taking my chances. Or can any of you guys recommend a different pair of headlight housings for around $150? Thanks guys

What's up with everyone lately asking for SL's approval?
It's your car and your money, but if you must hear it from us then I'd go for the black housing on your first post.
They look like the Anzos, a couple of people are running them including davedavetc.
I'm not a huge fan and don't expect anything from them but black would be a bit more acceptable as opposed to that hideous chrome.

its called a piggy bank and saving. Getting piece of ____ headlights is definitely not something i would recommend to him.

 

Retros are not meant for everyone, certainly not for someone who's looking a quick fix and @~$150.

If you decide to buy those eGa y lights make sure to seal them with silicone. Them sh_ts leak like woaaaaa!

I just wanna get some ppl's opinions. I like the chrome looking housings but I think the black ones would look better on the light blue tc. I actually like the 3rd pic that I posted best so far. here it is again. Can you use HID's with them everyone? Oh and do these have a light in the corners (like on the factory housings)??? Thanks

im 26 yrs old, im not a kid. anyways, i have more money i just don't want to spend a lot on headlights. I'm wanting to get a set like what is on ebay. I haven't yet found the housings that I want anywhere else. I really like the black housings that i posted on the last pic. Does anyone else know more about those housings or somewhere else I can get them. I really DONT want to buy from ebay, but sometimes ya just go with it. Like i said earlier, Im just trying to get information before purchasing. Yes, i have looked to see what i could find, yes there are plenty of posts about headlights on here, but not about the housings that i mentioned.

 

Get the second ones you posted if anything. Just put eyelids over the LED's on top and reseal them, I used to have em.

 

hey tctctc, where'd that lindsay chick get her fog lights from? im looking to get a set of those also. I dont like the big honking ones, but I like those smaller ones that fit down into the bumper holes.

Like I said earlier if aftermarket headlights is your thing, then look into Anzos. The only reputable company out there that makes them.

 

If by "Lindsay" chik you mean Vibenti, then her setup was VRDs that were purchased off eBay. You just need to know what you're looking for. eBay has some good stuff just gotta know where to buy.
