Pictures below will show that ours are the best quality around. Color matched and shaped perfectly to follow the shape of the key hole assembly. Ours aren't flat or round in one direction. Our plugs are curved differently on the X and Y axis to follow the same curves of the door handle as seen on the picture below. Its because of those reasons why we have hundreds of plugs sold.

but anyway, i ordered a set on the 8th. im not getting mad, because it is still a little early, but from what i see on this thread you post the name when you ship out, and i havent seen my name yet, so i am just wondering whats up? i normally wouldnt bother you, but from this thread people sometimes have problems. im not saying i am unhappy, just wondering whats up?

iKona I gotta say I wanta set of those keyhole covers, but I'm nervous about ordering from you with all the bad rep you get around here...

 

iKONA what brand paint are you using? PPG, RM Diamont, water based, Dupont, etc.? Personally I used the 3 I listed above, but not Dupont...and I have NEVER had a problem with color matching.

Ok here is my complete and honest review.

Keyhole Plugs
The quality of them is excellent. Fitment is right on, paint match is almost there. I used 2 drops of super glue and they haven't fallen out after 9 months.

Rear Garnish
When I first got the garnish, it looked great! Paint was shining no oval, looked perfect and the paint match was perfect. Now, it's 9 months later and it's faded, dull, you can CLEARLY see the oval, and there are a couple dimples on it. I've tried everything to make it shine except wet sanding, and nothing worked.

Overall I believed I waited 3 months for my garnish.

I guarantee you'll be satisfied!

I either use RM Diamont Dupont chromobase or chromomax (water based)
I love RM because its easier to mix IMO, covers faster, and has the super easy program if you accidentally over poured then the computer recalculates it so you get the right color mix.

But I love Dupont because even though I use the version where you print the formula from the online subscription at their website, their paints last a lot longer.
With RM say you need 10 oz of black, you pour 9oz of black and 1 oz of clear. With Dupont you need 10 oz of black you pour 8 oz of clear and 2 of black. The colors are allot stronger so they last you allot longer. Also the same price roughly as RM.
