I'm not sure if this has already been discussed here, if so I haven’t been able to find the forum. Yesterday, a friend of mine tried installing the Anzo tail lights on my tC. After many attempts, I either had working break lights, and no turn signals, or working turn signals and no break lights. I have an '07 tC (if that makes a difference) and I remember reading somewhere about a green and black wire being connected wrong and had to be switched, is this correct? Of course after a while we blew a fuse and I ended up having NO break/signal lights at all. Then after attempting to find the specific light (red) fuses that Scion uses (which are hard to find, and mainly only sold by Scion, I think) we discovered there was a set of fuses hidden under the hood, lol. But anyway, we had to end up re-installing my stock tails (which made me feel horrible for his wasted time)
So if ANYONE could PLEAAASSEEEE help us out on it I would really appreciate this.
THANKS!!
THANKS!!
yes your right. There is a fix for it. the wiring order is wrong on the plug and depending on which lights your using, you may need a STOP fuse put in for the brake lights which some people have had to have done. Here is the link for the wiring fix for all anzo lights. Let me know if you need any help with the wiring or any other questions. Im here.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I will definitely try this out and let you know if it worked! Here's a pic. of the tails I have also. They only have 1 black and 1 green wire tho, no red like shown with those. Hmmm.

Thanks again!!

Thanks again!!
Hmm.....strange. You should have a red and another black for a positive and negaitive. Mayber they updated the wiring on them. Last time i checked all the wiring was the same. You should have 4 wires. Let me go look at the wiring schematics again and i'll get back to you. Either way, you'll still need to swap the wires i believe even though your wire harness seems to be different. Try it and let me know.

Once again thank you so much for your help! Come to find out my friend that installed them for me switched the green and black wires BEFORE we first installed them due to the rumor that I heard and mentioned to him. Which basically mean's we blew my fuses for no reason. lol But just so you know, we switched them back to how they origionally were and they are working perfectly. So the other rumor that the ANZO's cause computer problems on the 2007 tC's is false also. I did manage to test them out as well, I drove 8 hours (500 miles) to visit some family in WV. Not only did the lights hold out the whole entire time, the car did an amazing job for its first loooooong road trip. Hah.
I'll definitely post pictures of the lights soon!!!

I don't mean to thread jack but, I'd really hate to start a new thread just for this.
How do those Anzo's light up? Which LED's are for the turns and which are for the brakes? I was looking at the same item on Ebay and it looks like some of the LED holes are empty/fake. Is this the case with the actual product?
Congrats on the install and thanks for the info. Good to know that an aftermarket product can last a long road trip

Any ideas?
okay, so when i replaced the fuses and tested it, the right side was fine but the left side blew the fuse... so i know i have a short, but i don't know where... i checked the wiring for both the tails and heads and nothing looks peculiar
problem solved!
so i was doing extra examinizations, and i noticed a wire that was stuck inbetween the car body and the taillight housing. I did the steps to uninstall the tails, but only for the left side. When I pulled out the tail to get the wire unstuck, I saw that the rubber of the wire had been eaten away at. I guess when the signals were flashing fast, the wire was "sparking?" the car body, and this morning, when the fuse finally blew, the wire must have made full contact with the body.
So I wrapped it in vinyl and it did the trick! Yayhoo.
