Default Installing HIDs, HELP!

Alright,

I got my HIDs from 3bspec.com
and I'm trying to install it in but the HID bulb wont lock in.
I got the 9006, 6k ones. I'm trying to lock it in like the stock bulb, where you just push it in and turn it. The HID bulb I tried to put in, won't just push in and lock.

HELP?!?

aim me =(

um check to make sure they are the right bulb type first.
also look through the front of the headlight to make sure the tabs are in the right spot to push in then turn

I'm having the same problems as you are. Is this just on the driver side? I had to change the o-rings on the bulb to the o-rings that were on the halogen bulb. It's not a tight fit so I'm worry about condensation when fall hits. My passenger will lock but the driver side will only turn a 1/4.

I found out what was wrong. I put it in the high beams instead of the low beams lol.

3bspec.com rocks! I bought my HIDs from them and I called them and they helped me out SO much =) Overnight shipping also, FTW!

You don't need to change the O rings, are you sure you're doing it for the LOW beams? I took out one O ring and I figure that the stock bulb is smaller than the HID so that's when I found out that I was replacing the wrong bulb lol

hit me on aim if you're still in trouble! =)

i had the same issue. I removed the O Rings and then they fit perfectly. I had an issue with a bad bulb/ballast though.

But fitment....yea just take off the O Rings...worked perfect.
