Default Interest in HID Retrofits

I’m a sponsor here on ScionLife currently selling plug and play HID kits. I was curious if tC owners specifically would be interested in buying pre-made retrofits. We would already have a pair of retrofitted Scion tC headlamps with TSX or S2000 projectors with BMW or S2000 shrouds (mainly looking at S2000 shrouds currently.) It would also include our HID kit with D2S bulbs so it would plug into your tC as if it were factory, so no cutting of your factory harness. So essentially, I’m wondering how many tC owners would be interested in Plug and Play Retrofits.

A break down of what the package deal would come with
x1 Pair of Factory tC Headlamps Retrofitted
x2 D2S bulbs
x2 Ballast
x1 Plug and Play Wiring Harness

I only voted Maybe b/c It would probably be something I'm interested in, but I already know I wouldn't have the $$ for them.

I vote maybe. The price point will make me decide. And will you do a custom job if I were to send you an angel eyes kit to put in it?

At the moment, I am looking at doing 10 premade retrofits. If it works, I'm looking into doing custom shrouds, angel eye kits, etc. Things along those nature.

As for price, it is looking close to the $900 area currently. But I am still in the process of sourcing better priced parts than the ones I have currently found to help reduce the price. The major perk of this whole thing would be plug and play retrofitted tC headlamps with bascially no wait time and without having to source headlamps or use your own for the down time it would take for a company or someone to do the retrofit.

Hmmm.. Gotcha... I guess it's a YES for me. But not really at the moment. I'm savin up for somethin else. Maybe in the next couple of months. But I'm tellin you, I'm interested.

Let me know when you can put in custom materials like angle eyes and clear corners, then I'll be savin up for an order.

E46 shrouds will look 10x better. parts alone will be around $700 (used) at the least depending on brands. Good luck getting those things brand new for cheap or finding them period. S2k projectors will be super hard unless buying them from Honda itself? Good luck and i hope you have a good chunk of change to work with.

I'm not interested in buying, but I am very interested in seeing the outcome of this production. Base on my experience, parts are relatively expensive, even if you decided to use aftermarket ballasts. S2000 projectors costs well above 350 and E46 shrouds costs well above 110. Plus your labor too. Good luck, and keep us updated.

Once we get everything all worked out, I will post up high res shots.

Parts are the most expensive out of everything, still trying to find places where I can get them for the cheapest. Even $10 or $20 off will help reduce the inital price. Gonna try to get a Demo set within the upcoming weeks.

how about seeting up a program that u can charge us the full price for the head light but then we can get some kind of credit if we decide to send you our headlights.
