there are arrows underneath the door. if you look under the car thats where you lift it. im on htechs too and i have no problem lifting them with the stock scissor lift thing.

jackstands will be your friends. Go to autozone or somewhere and buy a set. It usually has a jack and 2 jackstands.

If you get a 2 1/4 ton jack at Sears it fits perfectly under the car........and cost is minimumal.......there are arrows on the side of car that show where to put jack.

put it right on the weld spot where the two notches are........then put jack stand under the frame rail............yes jack stands area must and are cheaper than a jack........and will save your life.......also sold at Sears..........

there is also a hardpoint (literally looks like a raised bump) right under the front engine mount where you can place a jack to lift the entire front end at once. if you have trouble getting the jack under the car from there, you can always drive it up on a nice long 2x4 to give it a couple inched clearance or just remove the front bumper cover. I have this exact problem lowered with the kaminari front bumper cover.

Another trick if working on a really low car is to drive the car onto two short peices of 2X8 before jacking it up. To make it better , you can cut a wedge on the ends to make them easier to drive up onto. This will give you another 1.5 inches to work with .

Default For years, I've been using Portable Car Ramps...

Sorry to Intrude.
For years, I've been using Portable Car Ramps.
You don't need a jack or jack stands IF you're Home.
Or take them to a friend's place,
Just Drive on up. No Jacking, no stands, no lowering.
Mine are cupped at the top of the ramp and the wheels sit in them.
Do Recommend you Chock the back wheels.
Better Ramps:

Less Expensive types:

Bought some 20 years ago at Grand Auto for $19.95 pr

Not Cheap.
But, it's worth it, if you can afford them.
Or split the cost with your buddies.

Ramps are all good and great until you need to remove the wheels to do anything

No Problemo.
Drive up on the ramps.
Have a couple of your strong buddies hold up the front end.
Yank the ramps. Remove the wheels and start working.

Or Hire strong midgets to crawl underneath and push up.
