Well im not too good with shipping nor do I know how much that lip is worth. It cant weigh much but the box would be substantial. How much was it?

 

I never got it shipped to me, I bought it from someone in Dallas and picked it up.

The stock bumper barely has any scratches on it! If you ran over metal big enough for you to damage your lip and nothing else on you car....... it was the weakness of the lip. I'm not trying to be a *****, I just want you to see that the lip isnt all that good to go back to.

 

Is that for the whole kit or just the front lip?

fast5 - nah, it's ok brotha. The sheet of metal was so heavy that once I hit it, it didn't even move It didn't even reach the stock bumper, I might be able to salvage the bumper and just fix the corner that broke off.

I went back to pick it up and save someone else the headache and it was a good 30 lbs, yikes

 

^Dyyaauuummm!!! 30lbs! You could always get it glassed.... Ship it to Obsolete, he'll hook it up!

fiberglass it? would it look like before for half the price of a newone?

 

if I don't go with it, would a 5axis front look alright with jp sides and back? what ya think?

 

Im a little confused on what you said. lol. I wouldnt fiberglass it. I would plastic weld the broken pieces back in. I would have to fiberglass the little piece that you would be missing. I can take some pics of the jobs I do at my work it you want some quality assurance.

i'm sorry to hear that this happened to your tC. stick with the JP kit, i think it looks great on your car.

 

yea i'd stick with jp kit looks awesome on your car.

 

Honestly if you have the majority of the pieces it could be repaired,JP lip is prone to breaking as it sits pretty low,my buddy busted his too.But repaired lips done with correct materials are gonna be as strong as new.

 

5axis front wont line up with the sides and rear of the JP kit.. soo.. ur kinda in an all or nothing situation

 

Yep will not line up very well with 5Axis kit.
